Seedlings- Pre-K Program
Golden Apple Seedlings is our half-day pre-k program designed to help homeschooling moms gently prepare their little learners for kindergarten.
We teach a cutting-edge Pre-K Program that is both designed in-house by our team and specially curated from reputable publishers.
We meet live on Zoom Monday-Thursday for all classes. Some classes will be a large group (either the whole school or whole class), and others will be a smaller group to allow for more personalized instruction. Students will have independent work as well.
Fridays are independent work & teacher office hour days. On Fridays, we meet for our morning routine, and the rest of the day is dedicated to completing independent work and meeting with teachers for extra personalized support.
To be eligible for admission, all applicants must reside in one of the following states:

-Virginia
Additionally, we follow your residing states age requirements for placement, as follows:
Our Pre-K program is only open to children who turn four-years of age on or before September 1st of the program year.

- Morning Prayer & Worship – (Live: Whole School) We’ll start each morning fellowshipping as a school as we praise God to Christian music and pray collectively.
- P.E. & Christian Meditation Class – (Live: Whole Class) In this class, students get a brain break with fun, physical activity. Students also learn how to quiet the mind with biblical meditation

- Biblical Social-Emotional Learning – (Live: Whole Class) Friendzy Biblical SEL.
Why we love it:Friendzy covers life skills we consider crucial, including Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Responsible Decision Making, Social Awareness and Relationship Skills; all through the lens of scripture. We love the bright colors and fun artwork of the digital presentations, as well as the interesting discussion and reflection prompts. - ELA – (Live: Small Group) myView Literacy curriculum from Savvas Learning Company.
Why we love it: Savvas has a well-organized digital platform that facilitates differentiated learning, mastery assessment, and self-paced independent work when not in class. myView is highly rated among ELA curriculums for being high-quality, dynamic and engaging. - Math – (Live: Small Group) enVision Mathematics Program from Savvas Learning Company.
Why we love it: As stated above, Savvas has a well-organized digital platform that facilitates differentiated learning, mastery assessment, and self-paced independent work when not in class. We love that enVision emphasizes logical thinking, and teaches students a variety of strategies for solving problems with hands-on tools and visuals. - Science – (Live: Whole Class) BJU Press Science
Why we love it: As a Christian curriculum, BJU Science “points out the infinite wisdom and designing hand of God in His creation and its laws”. We love that students learn to question and challenge ideas through science and appreciate life with a Biblical worldview.

We enroll on a yearly basis only. Fall 2023 semester begins on August 21, 2023. Therefore, we are open for registration from January 2023 to August 2023. Deadline to enroll for 2023-24 school year is August 13th, 2023.

First, secure your child’s seat with paid enrollment. Select your desired program & tuition payment plan by clicking here.
Step 2 – Placement
Next, schedule a zoom appointment with education director Brittany Bunn to provide us with information about your child, discuss their needs, & to determine appropriate grade level placement. Schedule your appointment by clicking here.
Please complete the enrollment form prior to your appointment by clicking here.
Step 3 – Submit Required Documentation
Then, provide us with the following documents for your child. 1) student transcripts, if transferring. We accept homeschool transcripts. 2) proof of age, 3) proof of residency , 4) immunization records or religious exemption form. Step 4- Attend New Parent Orientation Meeting
Lastly, attend the new parent orientation before classes begin on August 21, 2023. Orientation will be held on August 16, 2023. via zoom on our Apple Orchard Platform. Enrolled parents will receive a detailed invitation in July 2023.

Saplings- Elementary School Program
Golden Apple Saplings is our full-time elementary program for students grades K-5.

- Conscious Arts – (Live: Whole Class) Connecting to the arts (movement, visual, sound and performance) with body, mind and spirit. Through the arts, students learn to cultivate inner awareness, of listening to their bodies and breath, processing emotions through art, and letting creativity flow, as well as outer awareness of nature, world cultures and artistic methods.
- Purpose Setting – (Live: Whole Class) In this class, students will take an introspective approach to understand who they are in Christ, as well as their strengths, areas of growth, interests and talents, and become in tune with the purpose God might be leading them to fulfill.
- Interest Workshops – (Independent) In our Interest Workshops, students delve into specific topics and participate in related projects over a series of weeks. Students get to vote on topics ranging from organic gardening to starting up a business, and we choose the subjects students are most excited about.
- Afternoon Reflection & Meditation – (Independent) The school day ends with a journal reflection and prayerful meditation.

Pre-K program: is voluntary & compulsory attendance is not required.
Elementary school program: By law, all children who are either six years of age, who will be six years old by February 1 of any school year, or who are older than six years of age but who have not attained the age of 16 years, must attend school regularly during the entire school term. Therefore, compulsory attendance is required.

Although we are an officially registered private school, currently we choose not to seek accreditation to gain freedom & independence from outside oversight or rules. This means we can create nontraditional options for our students and transform the system of education .
