The Apple Orchard Rules
Community Guidelines
Words are powerful. They can build us up, or break us down. They can inspire, comfort and unify, or they can stifle, intimidate and isolate. At Golden Apple Christian Academy, we aspire to create a culture of lifting each other up with kindness, wisdom, and encouragement through words fitly spoken.
The Golden Rule
“Treat others the way you want to be treated”
This is the basic, most important rule of the platform. The Apple Orchard is a place to come for positivity and harmony. We’re all different and will inevitably disagree with others, but what’s important is that we do so respectfully and lovingly.
Welcome Topics:
Whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy. Anything that is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Not Appropriate:
- Gossip
- Judging others
- Disrespect
- Intolerance
- Creating division
Consequences
If a community member doesn’t follow the standards, the administrative team will address the issue with that person on a case-by-case basis.
Sharing Concerns
Keeping the Apple Orchard positive is really important to us. If you feel that you were not treated according to our standards, let admin know so we can help resolve the issue.
